10^th February 2010: There will be a single set of walks in 2010, Walks #41 & #42. With only a single set of walks this year it is essential that you get your pilgrims application forms in as soon as possible. The first training day is this weekend, please keep the pilgrims and teams in your prayers.

30^th July 2009: Preparation for Walks #39 & #40 is well underway with the teams nearly complete. The first training day is nearly upon us. Keep the pilgrims and teams in your prayers.

11^th June 2009: Walks #37 & #38 have been completed. The new venue was a tremendous success and enjoyed by all. The walks were, as always, God's walks and his presence was strongly felt throught the weekend. The gathering for these walks is fast approaching - a great opportunity to fellowship and share with the Emmaus community.

11^th April 2009: The final training day for Walks #37 & #38 is nearly upon us. Please remember the the more pilgrims we have on each walk the more people the Holy Spirit can touch through Emmaus. As always remember to keep the teams and pilgrims in your prayers. As the walks approach the more struggles the team and pilgrims face.

8^th February 2009: The first training days for Walks #37 & #38 is fast approaching. Please remember the teams in your prayers as they commence their spiritual preparation for the upcoming walks. Pray especially for guidance for the Lay and Spiritual Directors as they form their teams.

11^th October 2008: The Training Days for Walks #35 & #36 have been completed. The teams continue with their spiritual preparation for the upcoming walks. The mens walk commences in less than a week on the 16^th of October and the womans three weeks later on the 6^th of November.

Ladies it is important to remember that election day is the Saturday of your walk. All team members and pilgrims are urged to place an early or advance vote from the 22^nd of October onwards. More information can be found on how to do this here

5^th August 2008: The 1^st Training Day for Walks #35 & #36 was held on Saturday at Zion Hill Methodist Church. The teams were very enthusiastic despite the rainy weather. Both the men and women enjoyed a day of fellowship, worship, awesome talks and of course good food. Based on the enthsiasm and deication of the teams we are in for a couple of powerful and Spirit filled walks. Well done everyone!

The next training day will be held on the 6^th of September 2008, at Meadowlands Methodist Community Church in Meadowlands

9^th June 2008: The 10^th anniversary gathering was an amazing success. The Crossroads Methodist Church and Church Hall were decorated in a very colourful fashion. There was a ample spread of very tasty food, as well as delicious deserts, to feed the many community members that attended the gathering.

Once everyone had enjoyed a fantastic dinner they moved to the church for the service. Memories of the arrival of Emmaus in New Zealand were shared, reunion groups presented their view of Emmaus and as always a recent pilgrim shared about their 'Fourth Days'. The sharing of communion brought a very special evening to a close.
